That scrape comes up about 1/2 an inch at the widest - will the mstache cover any of that? Its not a huge deal now, but I figure if I get an mstache, that will bring attention to it, and I'd have to repaint it

Unfortunately it doesn't cover the fangs at all. Once installed it will be situated right underneath the fangs but the lip will definitely bring the most attention to the front of the car and you won't have to worry about your fang anymore
