I might have had very slight rubbing on the front liners.

Here's the math for theoretical sidewall height for your tire and mine ...
25.5 cm * 0.40 = 10.2 cm
26.5 cm * 0.35 = 9.275 cm

So the theoretical sidewall difference is 0.925 cm. To convert cm to inches, divide by 2.54 cm/in yielding a 0.364 inch shorter sidewall height.
