The Bosch Plat +4's come pre-gapped with .040 is what I was saying. But the recommendation for the NGK iridiums is a gap of .032 and you have to gap those yourself. The +4's would virtually impossible to gap yourself. Thus, if you were to drop one by accident and the tips hit something like oh idk.... The concrete, (because they slipped out of your worn spark plug socket) the gap could be compromised...
