Did you get your key from BMW? All the locksmiths that I asked said you need to use the AK90+ to program any new cut key. I thought that process only worked if you get the key cut from BMW with your VIN programmed into it. |
No went to a small local locksmith, he kept saying same thing tell him you only want it for opening the doors in case you lock your good one out is what I said and he cut it. Don't use timpsons they just say needs a programmer, I just tried that key and it's not starting the car weird it worked before and a week after wonder if it's a cheap key and somehow lost its pairing
