I wonder if having such low profile tires is enabling the clearance? 245/40/18 is going to be significantly taller, and has a 7% difference in rotational speed.
Would love to hear from someone with the 18x9" ARC-8 wheel with a 245/40/R18 tire. |
Ahhh yes. Completely glossed over that bit. But yeah, probably. On the other hand, they do make a concave face with better offsets/widths to accommodate what you're trying to go for. Although 40 is pretty high, you miiiggghhttt be able to get away with it.
