We would not consider the 18x9.5" ET22 conservative at all. It works and looks great in the rear with a 265/35/18 or a 275/35/18 tire. Here are a couple of cars using our 18x9.5" ET22 wheel with a 265/35/18 tire.




An 18x10" ET25 with a 275/35/18 tire is doable but if you use an extreme performance summer tire like the Hankook RS3 or Dunlop Star Spec than you risk rubbing in the inner fender in the rear. Here are some pictures of an 18x10" ET25 mounted up with a 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tire that runs slightly smaller than an extreme performance summer tire and does not rub.
