not familiar with remus but i've got alot of experience with various aftermarket exhausts for my previous cars. but to answer your question, it should be a simple chop and you can buy aftermarket tips from companies like magnaflow. only thing to consider:
1. try to confirm the inlet/outlet diameter of your existing tips
2. to conform with the curvature of the rear valance, most dual tips are not going to be set evenly, one will stick out more than the other so keep that in mind when doing the chop
