Don't bother spending $$$ on fancy drilled/slotted rotors [for the track]. Get cheapo blanks paired with quality pads & high temp fluids. No street pad will hold up to track abuse, maybe your first weekend two but only a matter of time before you get fade. Get track pads for track, street pads for street. Hawks and PFC tend to be the popular ones here. I ran stock calipers + PFC's for 2 years before upgrading to a bbk.
And as you log more days, look into brake cooling. I did a write-up for the Aero bumper here, and it's helped tremendously.

Thanks for the advice. I've got some free time coming up in February when I'll finally have time to do the brakes.
Do you guys swap the street pads back in after track day? Do the track pads have too much bite to use all the time?
Is there are DIY on changing the brake fluid?
