Most track day instructors / coaches / organizers like to see DSC enabled unless maybe you run slicks.
I don't think you'll be able to drop 4 seconds off with DSC/traction control of any form enabled. Just my personal opinion.

If I was sitting in your passenger seat? I would tend to agree with the other "coaches" and leave some form of "safety net" on for myself.

If you're chasing a lap time?

Take the training wheel off.

Otherwise you'll never know if it's you doing the driving, or if traction control is doing it for you.
