That's what my husband said, but I think it fits way better this way, with the black strip at the bottom.
I can see a speck or two in the paint and it drives me mad, but no one is going to see it but me. Also-this wheel cover is SO much nicer to use than the nasty sticky flaking leather of the original wheel. It's a nice smooth ride.
