RE: getting old
My approach wasn't to get a beater, but a nice civilized SAV. In my case, the used X5d I picked up last November. Getting rid of such a pure sports car for a sport sedan is a compromise all around IMO. Now with the Z4M and X5, I haven't compromised the way I feel in the Z4M, and now I have practicality to spare in a torquey, comfortable DD. The ///M sedans aren't practical enough for me.
