aside from idle issues this may cause, my only concern is flexibility. the engine moves around quite a bit in comparison to the firewall. this thing has to be flexible enough to move and expand, but the joints have to be stout enough not to fall apart during operation.
i loved the sound generator in my 3.0si and believe the ///m's can benefit from a system like this.
