Correct. No problems with starter, you just have to *fully* depress the clutch to get it to light up. I have a replacement left knee and this pedal makes driving a standard transmission pain-free & enjoyable. Factory clutch pedal felt "wobbly" and required a high lift to cover the clutch. The Mason is worlds better.
