great write up.

I imported a month ago...very easy...just have necessary paperwork....

I called BMW before importing....and they told me I needed a recall letter for warranty etc...BS.

Got vehicle warranty inquiry....is all you need...verified with RIV before....and confirmed it...

Some dealerships in US will try and sell you recall letter....don't know if they are uninformed or trying to scam 500 bucks....tell them you want vehicle warranty inquiry....

Border took 2 minutes at US side.....10 minutes on Canadian side....NO PROBLEMS AT ALL....just make sure you have paper work and be organized...

So much cheaper....it only makes sense.
