Dyno runs can vary by more than 10 horsepower between runs. That's not to say you can't gain 10 horsepower with a tune, and I'm certainly not saying the specific tuner that flashed Vachss' car is misleading. I believe it's a real power gain. But what a lot of tuners will do is post the worst baseline run (usually the first), and compare it to the best "tuned" run (usually the last unless the car is hot). That's why it's best to get independent third party dynos. The independent shop is only on the hook to give me a dyno, and it has no vested interest in what the numbers actually are.

Vachss' dyno sheet is believable because it's from a real dyno, unlike many of the MS Paint dynos that float around on vendor websites. Thanks for posting.
