Sorry to hear about the accident. You shouldn't have a problem removing the clearbra. Sounds like it saved your paint. I've heard that factory paint won't lift when the clearbra is removed but if your bumper had been repainted, there is a possibility it can, depending on how good of a job they did and how long they waited before clearbra-ing it. It takes a certain time for the paint to cure and harden.
