Meh, unless he tracks the car, those tires are fine. I can't even tell the difference between inexpensive Nankangs/Hankooks and Michelins/Contis on the street. I'm on a set of Nankang Noble 2s now and I'm never going back to the expensive stuff for the street, it's a waste. I can't tell one bit of difference.
