+1 on Wheel Wax. I've been using it for a number of years and just had to buy my second tub. There are many opinions on what product works best to seal/protect wheels. I returned to Wheel Wax (after using Collinite 845) because I also felt it also cleaned some deposits while I was using it.
I switched to using a microfiber glove recently and that has made applying it somewhat easier.
