Try the Federal 595 RSR. Cheap tires that have phenomenal grip. One of the stickies dry weather tire I have tried.
I'm currently running 255/35/18 front and 265/35/18 rear.
Compound is pretty soft. Tread wear is 140. I don't expect them to last very long but at $170/tire who cares.
