I thought it was DSC off, because DSC is the default setting. The default setting is DSC on, if you click it once it's DTC on, if you press and hold it disables both.

Not for the ///M cars AFAIK. Only non-M's feature that way. I know because I have a non-M as well
For most if not all ///M's, once you hit the DSC button, DTC AND DSC are both turned off. There is no separate DTC control.
Stability and Traction are two different control features that aren't necessarily both available on M's.
