After driving the ZHP for a while and getting back into the M coupe this past Sunday, it made me feel like a complete n00b again. The transmission is such a bear to shift smoothly, and it's so notchy that I botched the 2nd-3rd shift a couple of times because I had gotten used to how little effort it takes in the ZHP.

But oh man, it's such a beast of a car compared to the much more civil 3er. So much fun to drive, but the stock transmission setup is definitely the Achilles heel.

By the way, how many quarts of transmission fluid do we use?
