The system is expensive, but it is better quality, better design and has more options than similarly priced systems. If the system makes the performance gains DKF anticipates, then this system will be a no brainer for me. On a positive note regarding price, the GB pricing ended up being a little less than what I agreed to pay for a complete system when I started tested the components

I agree with Byron here. I was skeptical when DKF approached me, until I physically saw the product for the first time. Since I have the product in my hands for testing, I can tell you that the quality is higher than anything else I have installed on our cars (Super Sprint, Eisemann, Rogue & RPI). In my opinion the system is in a league of its own bridging the gap between High end companies like Super Sprint and the "reigning champs" Akrapovic.

The real proof of engineering success will be in the dyno numbers, but from a build quality standpoint, there is nothing at this level of quality available for the Z4 M. Four of the characteristics that stand out to me in terms of quality are the following:

-Full ceramic coating (not just for looks, but for improved performance)
-Machine welds
-Race clamp design
-Hanger innovation for improved adjustability and dampening
