Seems like it could have detected knock and pulled timing, but continued delivering solid power. I will continue to blow through 2nd at every reasonable opportunity to see if it learns.

I'm generally revving to 6.5-7k. At least once earlier today, when I did exceed that, I noticed a pretty substantial vibration develop--almost definitely on the motor, as it was primarily transmitted through the stick. I do wonder if the new belt is under-tensioned and wobbling as various harmonics are encountered. How much does your belt yield if you push on the section heading down on the right after looping the S/C pulley? Is it really quite tight or reasonable to move an inch or so?

I continue to tread cautiously with over-7k engine speeds but will do some of my standard pre-supercharger 7.5k pulls tomorrow to see if the vibration is always reproducible. Also have to get that inside GoPro footage. If dubbed with audio recorded from an iPhone, it might be decent!
im thinking that your engine mounts or tranny mounts could be soft??? i dont see why an under or over tensioned belt would create a vibration..... my belt isnt tight by any means, its got a good amount of give, a good inch maybe more, some thing isnt right to be getting a vibration high up....... i would expect a s/c related vibration to be present all the time......................

yes you will get the wavering power during adaption time, you dont need to be using the revs heavily all the time but you should be exploring the entire rev range so this thing can adapt all over all...

did the guys reinstall the harmonics damper behind the crank pulley??? feel free tighten the belt, it will eventually slacken off anyhow, they really dont need to be tight as this itself will over stress the bearings in the unit........ funny your feeling alof of this vibration thru the stick....... tranny mounts?? engine mount backing out?? this needs investigation imo..... email ess and see what they think......
