I hadn't thought to do that, there's still plenty of time. The old cam was good and was just remachined and originally I had tried to keep this cost as low as possible. It was only when I looked at the flywheel that I saw the hot spots that merited a new clutch assembly. I don't know if I can cough up another 2 grand for the new cam haha, I'll see what they have laying around and if there's a set out there that looks good I might put it together. If you can think of anything else throw it my way, I'm not shy to spend what I need here... this is going to be kept forever so all that's fair goes.

contact george aka gmd s/c owner... found an oem clutch build to withstand higher forces. this is the one id go with!
