I guess I could always sell it if I decide that it's in the way, and it's probably an easier install than pulling out the old leather armrest and putting a new one in. I don't possess the magic touch when it comes to interior trim removal.

I am happy with mine, it is really convenient. I'm 6'1" and close to 200lbs and it doesn't get in my way at all. It's a great spot to throw loose change, my wallet, garage door opener and other things. It is also at a much more comfortable height to rest my arm when cruising.
