The front damper settings can be set a fair bit stiffer than the rear, where compression is slightly stiffer than rebound. The only way to properly set up the suspension to your requirements is by experimentation where you knowingly set the dampers too stiff and then keep backing off until it feels just right. The front suspension will be too stiff when you feel the bumps through your wrists when holding the steering wheel.

Exdos,
Thanks very much for the suggestions, I've since read your comprehensive and loooong thread on Z4 forum and have since tried your Z3M settings

Front
Rebound 10, bump 10
Rear
Rebound 13, bump 14

These I found a bit too floaty and unsettled around off camber and bumpy corners

I'm on
Front
Rebound 9, bump 7
Rear
Rebound 11, bump 8

Seems much more buttoned down but still much more compliant with a lot of the hard edge taken out. As you say there's no better way than to make a change and go for a ride. I'm much closer to where I want to be so now I'm just going to play around a bit closer to where I am right now.

Thanks again!

Cheers
