The manufacturer's suggested tire sizes yield a limited number of available fitments however, shifting to a 275 would increase the list of both possible and preferred options. THIS is why I'm asking. I already know 275s will fit on 9.5s, Mr. Dubs.

The question was, "Would these tires, being slightly wider, fit on our car, without the NEED for spacers and at the listed rear offset

I apologize if my wording distracted you. Given the opportunity, I know how eager some can be for to get a good zing on the boards

Someone else???
A lot of tires will fit a 9.5 but that's not the point. A 275/30 not only sticks out as pokey described but it also runs 0.4" taller. Then you have the issue of the added weight and more understeer due to the excess width in the rear. Poor fitment combined with worse handling and slower take off in exchange to get the preferred tire model is where I was going with this. You're better off using proper sizes in a different tire because you really gain nothing by going with a 275 imo.
