Definitely. I'll likely weld it as well and since a friend of mine is quite good at it, I'll just bring to him to be done. Simple.

But I should also point out that BMWCCA Club Racing rules require that tubing be, at a minimum, 1.75" thick which I think removes the "Steel Cromo" from consideration despite Chromoly being a stronger material. It seems to be in 1.5" tubing. If you're not planning to do club racing, no big deal. But it is also the most expensive option so saving the money also puts you within the specs the rules require.
