I'm in the middle of an oil change for a road trip tomorrow. I've done oil changes before but this is the first time on the ///M.

There're still quite a bit of old oil in the oil canister in the engine bay. The drain plug have been dripping very slowly for the last 5 mins. Is this normal? It just seems weird to me that there's that much old oil that I can see/touch in the canister and not much is coming out from the drain plug at the bottom. When should I put in the oil filter and button everything up?
