Ok...

So to make sure you don't get the lines in the top, keep the top up as much as possible.

Or, if you have the top down, make sure to put it up each and every time you are done with the car. But of course that method means that the rubbing will cause the lines as well.

And then you'll put extra wear and tear on the top motor and have to replace that sooner than later.
