duong, my Z4 is also looking at the end of the 4yr warranty in 2 months time, and I don't think I am any more or less concerned than with previous bimmers. I also dont think a dealership inspection is worthwhile if you have had the car for a good spell or the entire time. When was your last inspection done?

It would be good to know the checklist items done on inspection I and inspection II and depending on your mechanical knowledge, you could do the checklist yourself or get an independent mechanic to go over the car. That would be my suggestion.

Except for recalls like the ignition coils, the dealer is only interested in warranty work like oil , brakepad, coolant and anything else BMW gives you free under 50k/4yrs. After that they are an expensive and sometimes able mechanic shop with toy store attached!
