B. The point of AUX-In is to have the best sound repro. FM transmitters, no matter how good are limited FM bandwidth full of noise. Actually I am using an FM transmitter right now. It really sucks.

Excellent points. Can't argue whether it is or is not a mod, but absolutely agree that the FM is not the best audio solution.
