Man I'd love to go but it's ~3 hours each way. These are great fun and it's such good company.
I hate to say this, but driving in the Bay Area scares he hell out of me too now (born and raised there too). It's worse every time I'm there. Last time in the South Bay over the summer I stopped counting the accidents I saw after 20. I had to take serious evasive action 9 times (including avoiding cars not braking trying to rear end me at 70).
I'll say this--HPDE is a great thing for building awareness!
