I'm not it's not in the same place, but there's still got to be a screen somewhere in there. The filter is essentially a standard item in all variable valve timing systems that use oil. Just gotta figure out where it is
Probably under the valve cover like most of them are. It's interesting how easy it is on the M engines though..

I stand corrected atm. Been looking through the catalogs, i cannot find a screen filter anywhere... I'll definitely have to look ddeper into it... but so far, nada. Sorry i doubted ya XMetal
