I agree, but the transmission is so inconsistent and I would think a syncro issue would cause the issue each and every time. For instance, on my daily commute, I have to make a hard left onto a rotary and uphill, so I hit the left hard and apply power, the 1->2 is butter smooth. It seems when I'm tossing the car left hard, the shift is sweet, so I suspected the tranny or engine movement. This issue is also worse as the warm weather approaches ... rubber gets softer and more pliable in the heat???

Figured I'd start with the tranny as it's inexpensive to try regardless and BMW tranny mounts aren't known to be the best.
