Something I noticed recently that seems very invasive is how my phone will pick up on my conversations and advertise to me.

For example:

I tested this a few weeks ago. My wife and I do not own cats. Over a couple days I would have random conversations with my wife about cat food, cat toys, etc. Not once did I search for anything cat related on my phone, only in conversations.

Browsing the internet a couple days later I am getting ads for Purina cat food and all this other garbage all over the place. Am I the only one that finds this invasive?
That's what my coworker who uses iphone told me. He started seeing stuff advertised on his facebook and searches after having a conversation with someone a day or two earlier. He noticed that about 3-4 months ago. He went on to do some researches about this and surprised Apple has been doing that kind of stuff for a while.
