I just had this exact mod done on my 3.0i and it sounds fantastic! I was worried that it would be too loud, but it ended up being perfect. It's easy to keep it quiet when you want to, but it roars when you really juice it.
I went with a smaller
Magnaflow dual muffler than the OP, and it fits great. I also went with a pair of
Borla tips from Amazon.
Ended up spending a little over $500 after parts and labor.
