Sorry for the multiple names, online research has basically called it all three of those things, I thought why not call it all. It's officially the Airbag Control Unit(65776965146) and additionally the Safety Information Module in some parts catalogs.
It involves removing the center console and getting to the control unit(vaguely under that coin holder(?) in front of storage compartments)
Pretty straight forward, however pelicanparts puts it at a 3-5 hour job
And yes, I have purchased and am now waiting for it to ship. In the meantime, I drive with no functional airbags.
