sounds to me you guys have your own bias' for you Z4M's. Not really fair to knock 1 owners for loving their car and feeling its superior if you're going to turn around and make the same argument for your car. whether its true or not, its should be said that whether you drive a scion or a bentley if you like your car you'll find a way to make it "better" than what the next guy is driving. It was more expensive, it was less expensive, its faster, its more economical, its better designed, its more comfortable, ect...
love what you drive, respect other cars - especially of the same brand and don't be a douche. This isn't saying 1 owners picking fights aren't being jackasses. anyone who brings that crap up arrogantly is insecure and a moron. However, don't act like people in your clan don't think having an M badge makes them superior either... this is a two way street.
