I'll second how messy it is! You have to make sure that you've masked everything you absolutely don't want paint on and cover the garage floor under each corner as well. It's not coming off anything it dries on, including the cement floor. I did three coats and you have to let it dry a little while between coats, but by the time you've made it all the way around the car the first caliper is ready for another coat. It's a two-part epoxy paint and it hardens in several hours. Initially it's really drippy and it runs down the brush so make sure you're wearing latex gloves, but it will be pretty thick by the time you get to the last couple of calipers on the last coat. Everything gets really sticky and you have to toss the brush and the gloves after a while. It comes with two brushes but I picked up two sets of artists brushes at Home Depot and went through most of them by the time I was done, as well as several pairs of gloves.

After you're done with the last coat it has to dry for about 24 hours before you put the wheels on (you don't want to mess up all that hard work!), so it's a two-day process. It took me at least two hours to prep and mask everything before I started painting.

Hint: Make sure you take off the retaining clips and paint those separately.
