Is there significantly more risk of damage between the 18" and 19"?

I have a '03 3.0i with the sport/perf package and factory suspension. Using http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp, I came up with these set ups:

Apex ARC-8
Front:
Tire - 225/40R18
Wheel - 18x8.5 ET38
Difference - 9mm (.4")

Rear:
Tire - 255/35R18
Wheel - 18x9.0 ET42
Difference - 8mm (.3")

VMR V718
Front:
Tire - 225/35R19
Wheel - 19x8.5 ET45 CB72.6 5x120
Difference - 2mm (.1")

Rear:
Tire - 255/30R19
Wheel - 19x9.5 ET45 CB72.6 5x120
Difference - 5mm (.2")

Thanks!
If you want the rears to be dished which gives a more aggressive look you will need 9.5 width but in the 18s with et 35 they may be outside the wheel arch. might be worth asking if anyone has this set up on the rear with sports suspension, as I said in my previous post I am 19 x 9.5 et 42 not sure I could move out another 7mm.
