Inspection II cost,

there is a BMW specialist shop locally,
my moupe is sitting at 47K km which is equivalent to 30K miles. I got quote for $1200 for Inspection II.
Its just an inspection, I mean I will have to pay more for valve adjustment, top up fluids if necessary, etc etc.....
Do you guys think I should pay shop $1200 for just inspection? or just pay for what needs to be done like valve adjustment and checking up fluids myself? your sincere feed back is greatly appreciated!
