245/35-18 (not 235/45-18) may have been the sport package tyre on the Z4 3.0i in 2004 (as this size was commonly used on the E46 then), but 255/35-18 is actually closer to 225/40-18 in diameter, so is typically the staggered rear tyre of choice now on many BMWs. The 2006+ Z4 3.0i and si sport were certainly fitted with the 255/35-18 rear tyre.
