I realize your just quoting a silly article...but I love this comment that it's nice for the environment. Compressed Air consumes much less energy, so I'll argue air is better for the environment.
The only realistic defensible argument is that the leak rate is lower by several times (depending on liner). But it's still simpler to replenish my tires several times more frequently, if I want to put that advantage to rest.
