Yes, BMW is a little more strict compared to some of the other clubs but I personally think it is a good thing. The previous events I did with them I was able to select a run group during registration so it's odd that they did not place anyone yet.
I'll also be at Jeffapalooza on Monday and Jeff is the president for the NJ Chapter. Will ask him for more details on how people will be placed and report back.
