I don't know if the variable back pressure muffler came on NA cars. I know I don't have it. At least I don't think I do. It's interesting because the M versions have the same hp ratings for NA and euro. If it was a cat thing for NA you would think they would be affected too. I'm thinking it's just the variable back pressure exhaust. But I'm not sure if all 3.0si came with those in Europe.
