I've had great success with my other cars using RP Synchromax so I changed out my MTF this past weekend. Amazon.com had the lowest price with free shipping on the RP products. I can't say there has been as much improvement with the 2nd gear engagement as I had in my E39 or E36 cars previously. It might be a little better but so far the difference isn't as great as I had hoped. It hasn't been bad on my car at all so far but then I don't slam it into second from a red-lined first gear very often either. The interesting thing is that my 3.0si coupe wasn't as notchy as the M coupe and they supposedly have the same tranny. Hmmmmmm.
