I'm looking at Sleepyro's pics and trying to imagine what a set of 18's would look like on my same color roadster. The roads around here can be rough with lots of pothole patches after the winter, so I've always figured I'd stick with 18's. Do you think 19's would result in a noticeably rougher ride?
The 19s will have a slightly harsher ride. It's kind of part of the territory of going with a larger wheel / decreased sidewall. I have seen customers with M Coupes run 225/45/18 and 255/40/18 tire sizes. That leads me to believe that 40/35 profile tires on 19" wheels may work. The front 225/40/19 tire would be 0.1" taller and the rear 255/35/19 would be the same exact diameter as the 255/40/18. The taller profile should mitigate most, if not all, of the increased harshness of a 19" wheel.

Either way, the wheels would look great on your car!
