I've recently been won over by the CCW setup that came with my ESS Z4M - 18x9ET32 front, 18x10ET25 rear with 255/35/18 and 275/35/18. I haven't had any DSC issues with the slightly different diameters. No rubbing on stock suspension. Though I haven't been able to really push the car yet due to winter weather, the extra front grip seems to have reduced understeer.

One of the downsides is you can feel the extra tire. It's hard for me to articulate. It's like driving with the rear wheels on the front of car. There's increased road noise and a mild increase in tramlining. The car is terrifying to drive in the rain. Taking it all into consideration though, I think these sizes are ideal for my needs.

OP, I realize it's more expensive to get the wheels you want based on your location, however, my opinion is that you should either spend the extra cash or hold off completely. Some people like to change things up just to do something different. I get that, but it would be hard for me to justify spending that much money for an aesthetic change with zero performance benefits, especially considering the hassle it is to import wheels.
