I'm racking my brain why it would have happened to abruptly, and right after a reflash of the DME. There are no signs the DME itself is bad (which maybe is a sign?). The car was running nearly perfectly. Parked it. Next day reflashed the DME. That night went to take it out and it wouldn't go above 1500 rpm.
